What is Waste Cooking Oil?
Waste cooking oil (also referred to as used cooking oil) is the by-product of food preparation processes, primarily deep frying and grinding, in restaurants and other commercial kitchens. It includes used vegetable, sunflower, canola, and olive oil, which have lost their original culinary attributes through repeated use.
Despite no longer being suitable for cooking, these oils can be converted into valuable resources like biodiesel when collected and processed correctly, showcasing our commitment to eco-friendly waste management.
